The biographical miniseries ‘Pam & Tommy’ is still in production, but is already one of the most discussed at the moment, due to the surprising transformation of actors Sebastian Stan and Lily James.

And during an interview with ComickBook.com, Production Manager – Craig Gillespie, spoke about the subject, revealing that the series will have the same sensibility as “ I, Tonya, ” an Oscar-nominated biopic also directed by him. .

At the time, the director of “Cruella” also reflected on the importance of considering how the sex tape of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee ended up having immeasurable consequences in the lives of individuals. Gillespie also pointed out that the miniseries will make this showdown with the audience:

“I know it’s kinda crazy how this has caught the eye, we’ve been here four weeks and Sebastian and Lilly are just turning them on!” And you know we have Seth [Rogen] there too and Nick Offerman and it will be a very, very crazy and fun trip which, ultimately, what I like is that he has a lot of heart. It has a very similar sensibility to ‘Me, Tonya’, where you start to take this journey and understand the damage that has been done to Pamela Anderson and that as an audience we are complicit in that again, because we devoured this whole situation, without any concern as to the consequences that this would entail for individuals ”.
