According to LRM Online, Disney + ‘s “Obi-Wan Kenobi”-focused miniseries could feature droids R2-D2 and C-3PO.
So far, it’s unclear whether the characters will be of great importance to the plot or if they will only have cameos, like in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
While nothing has been confirmed, the information does make sense, as they are the only characters who have appeared in any property in the franchise, movies, animation, and comics.
Recently, R2-D2 appeared in the final episode of ‘The Mandalorian’, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he appeared alongside his golden friend in the Jedi Master series played by Ewan McGregor.
Previously, Cinelinx announced that child actress Vivien Lyra Blair (“Bird Box”, “Little Big Heroes”) would bring to life the children’s version of Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan (played by Carrie Fisher in the original saga) .
Reports indicate that Leia will play a large role in the plot, being described as “the impetus for the entire production, which animates Obi-Wan. [Ewan McGregor] towards another adventure ”.

“It’s really exciting to see the talents involved here. And now we’re developing the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries with Deborah Chow and she’s done a phenomenal job.
Directed by Deborah Chow, “Kenobi” will have only six episodes lasting an hour.
For now, the first forecasts are only for 2022.
