Never buy this brand of tomato sauce – here’s why

But how good is the tomato sauce? Dense, well seasoned and flavorful product, the mainstay of our beloved pizza and enjoyed by all at all times which also offers a wide range of vitamins, minerals, powerful antioxidants and even a very high percentage of antioxidant lycopene which really brings ours great health benefits. Tomato sauce is also very often recommended in various and varied slimming cures, because it has the ability to act as if it were a draining agent, with low caloric value and an excellent diuretic.

It also manages to activate the metabolism to help burn all the excess fat so we can really say that for weight loss it is really an excellent ally even if we must never forget that, like any other food, it is good to associate it with a balanced diet and discussed before with your general practitioner. What is lycopene? As for the contraindications, we can say that in itself the tomato sauce does not have any at all but it is certainly useful to read the label that we find on the bottle well in order to be able to choose preparations that contain fewer preservatives and fewer additives. Tomato sauce can also be eaten as an appetizer and every day, as long as you have at least three of the regular main meals recommended each day, added to two basic snacks. The daily menu, to be therefore healthy, must be varied as often as possible and must always contain all the main nutrients included without worrying about the problems of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins and plenty of water.
