During these hours, Netflix formalized the cancellation of another series. We are talking about Bad Crimes, an animated series with the voices of Nicole Byer and Lauren Lapkus, whose production was in progress. The series was born from an idea of Nicole Silverberg, executive producer with Greg Daniels and Mike Judge and their New Bandera Entertainment Company. Netflix recently announced that it will order a ten-episode first season in January this year.
At the time, Silverberg said, “Working with Netflix is a dream come true, as it will allow and encourage me to tell my dirtiest and most violent comedic fantasies”. Bad Crimes was a series centered on two FBI agents traveling across the United States to solve grisly crimes while juggling their friendship, their ambitions, and as many men as possible. Now, however, the series will most likely move to another video streaming platform.

The long-awaited communication has finally arrived with Netflix ready to finally introduce the basic plan with advertising. The new subscription, which includes commercial breaks during viewing, will be available in Italy from November 3 at 5:00 p.m. Its cost will be 5.49 euros per month, compared to 7.99 euros for the traditional Basic package. Already in April this year, the video streaming platform announced the arrival of the new tariff plan. The purpose of this subscription is to recover subscribers.
Between January and March alone, the loss was 200,000 subscribers, which caused a drastic drop in the stock market. In addition, this drop had led the company to intervene and prevent the sharing of the password of the same subscription, as well as to lay off 150 employees to reduce costs. But those measures didn’t help as things got worse between April and June, when Netflix reported the loss of another million subscribers. For this reason, in the end, the giant wanted to resort to this new type of subscription.
