There is finally a date for the long-awaited original series of the Instagram platform in collaboration with an Italian character who has discovered himself very loved following the episodes posted online for streaming.

Tear along the edges – this is the name of the first project of the series of the Roman cartoonist – was a huge success and it was impossible not to think of a sequel for the streaming platform. Following the great success, which saw the series first in Italy for months, there were requests from viewers and for Netflix, as well as for the cartoonist himself, it became almost an obligation.

Zerocalcare leaves nothing to chance and before we could put anything new on the platform, we had to take our time and design an equally extraordinarily beautiful series. The first draft is a poignant journey of self-reflection that has sparked deep thought in the souls of anyone who has watched the series with a passion.

In full Zerocalcare style, the Roman designer has announced a new project that will see the light of day on Netflix, without however revealing the date. However, precisely according to the streaming platform it seems that the release is scheduled for 2023: no hope for the last 40 days of this 2022. First of all, Zerocalcare wishes to specify that what will be released will not be a second season, it’s a new project and then regarding the production he says that about 200 people work behind the series and thanks them one by one: it’s not the Zerocalcare series, but all of them.

After the reveal in the cartoon, there is only great expectation for the return of the Roman cartoonist who hopefully can repeat his great success.
