Netflix CONFIRMS the release date for the 2nd season of the popular superhero series
One of Netflix’s most popular superhero TV series is finally returning for a second season. Streaming today released the release date for “Raising Dion,” based on the comic book by Dennis A. Liu and produced by Michael B. Jordan.
With 8 episodes, Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on February 1, 2022.
The series premiered on Netflix in 2019 and tells the story of a boy who suddenly develops superpowers and his mother trying to help guide him into his new life.
Alisha Wainwright, Ja’Siah Young and Jason Ritter are the stars. In addition to acting, Michael B. Jordan is also the executive producer of the project.
The second season will feature the addition of Rome Flynn (“How To Get Away With Murder”), Aubriana Davis (“Genius: Aretha”), Tracey Bonner (“Sweet Magnolias”) and Josh Ventura (“P-Valley” ).
