Earlier this week, Netflix took fans by surprise by announcing the cancellation of yet another series.
“Fate: The Winx Saga” will not have a third season. But the franchise on Netflix will continue.
Iginio Straffi, creator of the series, has revealed that the saga will get a reboot in the form of an anime series and a big-budget live-action movie.
“The dream is not over. We are going to make a new reboot of the CG anime series Winx [da Nickelodeon] and a big budget movie,” he revealed.
“Fate has been an exciting adventure, a great achievement and a hit watched by millions of people around the world, reaffirming the strength of these characters. We will have many projects from the Winx world in the future,” he said. concluded.

As the second season ended with several hooks for future tales, the audience is disgusted with the decision, as the series will not end with a proper ending.

In an attempt to circumvent the cancellation, a group of fans created a petition asking Netflix to make the third season:
“It’s really devastating. It is one of the best series on Netflix and had an unfinished story to finish. Everyone was looking forward to more seasons and hoped that they would renew the show. Instead, they opted to cancel the show, leaving many fans furious and heartbroken. That’s why I created this petition for people to sign so Netflix can bring it back.
Instead, Netflix is spending most of its resources on serial killer documentaries rather than bringing back amazing shows that people love and can’t wait for the next season. May they not hurt or affect the victims or their family members who are still with us. Even if you’re not a fan of that particular show, this petition can help stop Netflix from canceling popular shows and instead releasing multiple serial killer documentaries and starring them instead of people. who really deserve it.
Please help me sign this petition to bring back the amazing Fate: The Winx Saga series and get the ending we deserve!”

The plot follows five fairy friends who arrive at Alfea, a magical boarding school located in the Otherworld, where they must learn to master their powers while venturing between love affairs, rivalries and monsters that threaten their very existence.
