Netflix continues to cancel several of its series.

Streaming ended its fantasy series “Cursed – The Legend of the Lake” after just one season.

The series was based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler and was presented as a reinvention of the legend of King Arthur, except through the eyes of the young heroine (Katherine Langford) who was destined to become the powerful and tragic Lady. Lake.

Based on Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s bestseller, Cursed – The Legend of the Lake is the story of King Arthur told by Nimue (Katherine Langford), a young woman with a mysterious gift destined to become the mighty Lady of the Lake. After his mother’s death, Nimue finds an unexpected partner in mercenary Arthur (Devon Terrell) and sets out to deliver an ancient sword to a wizard named Merlin (Gustaf Skarsgård). Throughout its history, it has become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrible Red Paladins and King Uther (Sebastian Armesto).

Cursed – The Legend of the Lake is a coming-of-age story, with themes familiar to our times: destruction of nature, religious terror, senseless wars, and the courage to take the lead when everything seems impossible.

In addition to Langford, the cast includes Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgard, Peter Mullan, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Emily Coastes, Catherine Walker and Billy Jenkins rounding out the cast.
