Naples, frightening fire in the apartment: one injured

Scary fire in an apartment in Naples, Poggioreale district. The flames broke out around 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 9 via Santa Lucia alle Philippines in Brecce Sant’Erasmo, where an apartment on the fourth floor of a building was totally destroyed. The flames also reached the upper floors, causing damage up to the seventh floor. A family of three were first trapped in the flames and then saved by the timely intervention of firefighters. Social councilor Luca Trapanese has taken steps to find alternative accommodation for the families, in the three, whose homes were destroyed. Firefighters extinguished the fire by lunchtime. The Civil Protection, the Carabinieri and the local police also intervened on the spot.
