“Nancy Drew”: Season 2 First Episode Gets Official Synopsis; Check out!

The second season of “ Nancy Drew ” is scheduled to air on January 20, 2021, and the CW has released the official synopsis for the premiere episode.

Team Drew is back for Season 2 – Nancy (Kennedy McMann) and her team are still recovering after witnessing visions of their deaths. More than ever, they realize that they must come up with a plan to stop Aglaeca’s aquatic spirit before it’s too late.

Meanwhile, Detective Tamura (Ryan-James Hatanaka) appears on The Claw and searches for Nancy for questioning, as she is now suspected of a mysterious assault on a comatose girl.

The episode is directed by Larry Teng.

Developed by Josh Schwartz, the series is based on the iconic character created by Edward Stratemeyer.

The new version of Nancy Drew focuses on the 18-year-old detective during the summer after graduating from high school. Although Nancy plans to leave her hometown to venture to college, a family tragedy keeps her home for another year, and she finds herself trapped in a “ghostly murder investigation” that leads her to discover dark secrets along the way.

In addition to McMann, the cast also includes Tunji Kasim, Riley Smith, Leah Lewis, Alvina August, Maddison Jaizani, Scott Wolf and Alex Saxon.
