‘Mortal Kombat’: Fans Want Gal Gadot to Play Kitana in the Sequel; Check!

Despite a mixed reception from expert critics, the reboot of “ Mortal Kombat ” made a huge hit among fans and became HBO Max’s biggest debut (gaining more views in three days than the recent “ Godzilla against Kong ” in five).

With rumors pointing to a sequel, several fans began to wonder who might appear in the next chapters of the saga – and a name has already come to mind to play Kitana, the warrior princess of Outworld: Gal Gadot.

On social networks, countless Internet users have spoken in favor of hiring the “ Wonder Woman ” actress to live the character, more precisely after having proposed a stylized art of the page @BossLogic released in 2018.

In Brazil, “Mortal Kombat” is set to hit theaters on May 20. The information was revealed by the notice of Warner Bros. at CinePOP.
