‘Moon Knight’: May Calamawy joins the cast of new MCU series

The cast of the original Disney + series, titled ‘Moon Knight’, is taking shape and another new member of your cast has been announced.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress May Calamawy is the latest addition to the plot, in an undisclosed role. According to the post, she will bring a key character in the series to life.

Filming for “Knight of the Moon” is expected to begin in March, in the city of Budapest.

Calamawy is best known for having starred in the famous “Ramy” series.

Don’t forget that Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (“Synchronic”) will be the directors of the series.

Recalling that Mohamed Diab will also act as showrunner, while the screenplay is written by Jeremy Slate (“Umbrella Academy”).

Recordings will be made in Budapest and London under the supervision of director of photography Gregory Middleton.

For those who don’t know him, the Moon Knight is Marc Spector, a mercenary with diverse personalities – cab driver Jake Lockley and millionaire Steven Grant – who help him take on the criminal underworld. Soon it becomes a channel for Khonshu, an Egyptian moon god. The Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, and was introduced in Werewolf by Night # 32.
