As usual, the site of the Ministry of Health publishes notes almost daily indicating the products not to consume. There are various risks to the health of citizens that must be taken into consideration and to which we must be very attentive. In particular, today’s concerns the listeriosis alarm, a bacterial infection that derives from Litteria.
Going into the specifics of the product withdrawn from supermarkets, it is a single batch of chocolate crêpes, marketed by the Crêperie Jarnoux brand.
The recall is dated October 6, but was only released yesterday, Monday October 10. The note indicates a possible microbiological risk for all consumers.

The possible presence of listeria monocytogenes alarmed the organization responsible for safeguarding the health of citizens. In fact, this is not the first time it has been reported in certain food products. Recently, listeria has been included in the calls for wurstel and salmon sandwiches and a general alert at European level after several cases of the disease.
The chocolate crepes withdrawn from the market relate to the company Bernard Jarnoux Crepier based in Lamballe, France. It is sold in packs of six pancakes of 150 grams each.
The batch number concerned by the withdrawal is 256, with an expiry date or minimum shelf life set at October 11, 2022, the date which coincides with the end of the display of the notice.
All unsold products have already been removed from markets and supermarkets. They will then be subject to further checks at the appropriate offices. The recommendation that the Ministry reminds all consumers is to return the purchased package to the point of sale in question. It is also possible to request a refund for the product by showing the operator the government note on the official website.
