In his very personal private collection, he never lacked iconic models from the Modenese manufactory, even though he actually kept them as true works of art.

This had notably been commissioned by Weber Management GmbH, the company run by the German sample manager. It sat in Schumacher’s garage from 1997 until 1999, when it was purchased by a private Japanese collector who has now decided to put it up for sale. She has therefore recently arrived in England and after being serviced, she is ready for her new owner.

The Ferrari F50 was born as a two-seater spider to celebrate the first 50 years of activity of the brand and developed the idea of ​​Piero Ferrari who wanted to market an F1 racing car but on the road. It is no coincidence that it is equipped with a narrow V 12-cylinder engine directly derived from the one that powered Nigel Mansell’s Ferrari 640 F1 in 1989. In all, 520 horsepower and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ h in just 3.8 seconds.

The model went on sale at a price of 850 million lire. Only 349 copies, sold in a very short time, with the clause for each owner to order only one model to avoid any speculation. In particular, Schumi’s has only covered 3,750 km and on the dashboard it bears an original autograph by Sergio Pininfarina who designed it.
