“‘Matrix 4’ is different and similar at the same time”, says actor

“Matrix 4” opens at the end of the year and promises to revolutionize cinema again.

To raise our expectations, star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II commented in an interview with Collider that he had a shocking reaction when he received the script.

“I immediately thought, ‘Wow, people are going to really like this. I like it. People will love it. It’s different and it’s similar, you know, at the same time. It’s a really smart fusion of what we want and what we don’t know how to want ”.

The official title of the long-awaited sequel “Matrix 4” seems to have been revealed. A makeup artist from shared a production giveaway, which she won after filming the feature film. However, without her realizing it, the image showed the possible title of the film: “Matrix: Resurrições”.

The title makes sense, as it follows the pattern of the previous sequences. Additionally, it makes a possible direct reference to the return of actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, whose characters died at the end of the original trilogy.

The film will be released in national theaters on December 23, 2021.

“Matrix” was released in 1999 and acclaimed around the world for its innovative visual effects. The original won four Oscars and grossed $ 463 million worldwide.

Two sequels followed, “Matrix: Reloaded” and “Matrix: Revolutions”, both theatrically released in 2003.
