The place that anticipates new culinary trends, the place where trends are born and then arrive on the table. MasterChef Italia reopens on Sky and streaming on NOW for an unprecedented and exciting season. It will be a long ride full of emotions that will lead to the proclamation of the new best amateur chef in Italy: the official announcement of the departure date arrives today, with the first official promo.

Master Chef Italy

To select the most deserving amateur chefs, to guide them through test after test, on an obstacle course between enigmatic Mystery Boxes, surprising Invention Tests, exciting Skill Tests and very tense Pressure Tests, the very confirmed trio formed by Bruno Barbieri, Antonino Cannavacciuolo and Giorgio Locatelli. Their task is to organize the tests and accompany the aspiring MasterChefs episode after episode, in a journey in which the challenge will be tight and unrestrained, but above all the research and study of the ingredients will be very intense, from the traditional to the most innovative.

MasterChef Italia, a new season is coming: official date and promo

After the success of previous editions, MasterChef Italia continues with another season, whose promo denies previously widespread rumors about the exit of Antonino Cannavacciuolo from the scene. The trio already confirmed by some editions is also reconfirmed in the twelfth, which will soon debut on Sky Uno. And as you can see in the promo for the new season of the cooking show Sky Original produced by Endemol Shine Italy, don’t be afraid to bring recipes, techniques and ingredients to the cooking stations that were unthinkable a few more years ago.

If Cannavacciuolo bets on yuzu, an extremely aromatic citrus fruit rich in seeds and vitamin C native to East Asia, Locatelli bets everything on daikon, better known as “Japanese white radish”, while Barbieri ” tifa” for the lotus root, an edible root with therapeutic properties already very popular in Asia and Australia.

In the wake of what happened in the last editions, which saw tuna marrow, katsuobushi as protagonists, without forgetting all types of tubers, original plants and other specialties found in the most remote corners of the world . Ingredients more or less loved by competitors in their culinary creations but made understandable to the public, who have since become familiar with these names. What will be the most particular (or absurd) ingredients that will be the protagonists of the new edition of MasterChef Italia? All that remains is to follow the cooking show which, as announced in the promo, will begin next Thursday, December 15.
