Career: from children’s programs to “Uno Mattina”

A graduate in Communication Sciences, the conductor began his career in the advertising sector. He landed on TV on Disney Channel a few years later, devoting himself to a show for the little ones. Subsequently, he moved to the Rai house where he led the Disney Club for several years – from 2003 to 2006. He increasingly became a recognized face in Rai and led Linea Verde from 2006 to 2010, the Zecchino D’Oro in 2010, Linea Bianca in 2014, Mezzogiorno in Famiglia from 2016 to 2019. From June 2022 he directs Uno Mattina, a program already carried out in 2018. Also in June, he devotes himself to two evenings of the Kalipè program – A pace of man on Rai 2, inspired by his book.

A happy marriage

Massimiliano is married to Laura Gabrielli, entrepreneur of a supermarket chain in Ascoli Piceno, where he lives with the whole family. The beautiful couple have three children: Carlotta, 18, Melissa, 17, and Giovanni, 15. For work purposes, Orsini is an absentee father living in Rome and goes to visit his family on weekends while they join him the other weekends of the year: “They will come to visit me in Rome: they can’t wait to be tourists in the capital in the summer, when the city empties. Living always with a suitcase in hand does not scare me… recently I have been to the Seychelles, Mauritius and even Iceland”.

The couple is very close and their marriage is happy. A few years ago they had to face a bad period: Laura was pregnant and the doctors confirmed the diagnosis of thyroid cancer, which was later undone. “They advised us to terminate the pregnancy to allow it to heal, but we decided to continue.”
