According to Deadline, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (‘The Legend of Candyman’) has left the cast of the pre-sequel ‘Mad Max: Furious’, which will star Anya Taylor-Joy (‘The Witch’).
The actor, who had to abandon the project due to scheduling conflicts, will be replaced by Tom Burke (“Only God Forgives”).
Don’t forget that Chris Hemsworth (‘Rescue’) will also star in the production.
Sadly, Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron won’t be reprising the eponymous role this time around, as the plot will focus on her rise in her youth.
George Miller (‘Mad Max: Road of Fury’) returns to directing.
