Beautiful and impossible, as fascinating as James Dean. Luke Perry gave life for years to the unforgettable character of Dylan McKay from Beverly Hills 90210, teen idol, sex symbol of that time, but not only.

The myth of the Nineties generations which contrasts perfectly with the angelic Brandon Walsh embodied by Jason Priestley. Today Luke would have been 56, but a terrible stroke struck him three years ago, unexpectedly and suddenly taking his life.

Luke Perry is not his real name, which was Coy Luther Perry III at the registry office. He was born in Mansfield in 1966 on October 11. With his talent, and the charm of a star of yesteryear, he was able to impose himself on cinema as on television, playing in many films which helped to crystallize his artistic depth. Her mother’s name is Ann Bennett and her father, Coy Luther Perry Jr., died when she was 14. Luke Perry marries Rachel ‘Minnie’ Sharp with whom he has children Jack and Sophie Perry. The two then divorce. Luke reportedly has an intense romance with Beverly Hills co-star Jennie Garth, who was Dylan’s girlfriend Kelly on the show! The beginnings

Luke Perry began his career on the small screen by participating in several television soap operas, such as Destini and When we love. I know what it’s like to be worried like that and be the kid at school who doesn’t have nice clothes and new shoes.”

Luke Perry and Sudden Death

In February 2019, the actor suffered a severe stroke, which doctors described as devastating. The news broke the day after the reboot of Beverly Hills: 90210 was announced. “‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ left an indelible impact on pop culture and on an entire generation,” Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, of FOX told Fox 10. from our network – bold stories that aren’t told anywhere else and larger-than-life characters – and we’re honored to bring back the beloved original cast members for 90210.” In the social sphere, Luke Perry had distinguished himself for his fight against AIDS. Luke Perry died on the morning of March 4, 2019 at the age of 52, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Burbank in Los Angeles, where he had been hospitalized for only five days.
