Luigi Strangis was the twenty-first winner of the Amici di Maria De Filippi. Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter has tried to develop his style within the Canale 5 school to impose himself in the panorama of the new contemporary scene. And after a Gold-certified EP and a new single in radio rotation, the artist returns with a new album.
After the victory at Amici, it was a busy summer for Luigi Strangis who faced his first tour after competing in the talent show and gaining popularity in the contemporary music scene. His debut EP also topped the Fimi/Gfk chart of best-selling albums, but now the artist is already looking to the future.
Luigi Strangis has already announced the new album, which will be released next October 14 in all stores and on streaming platforms, where pre-saving is already possible. The singer from Lamezia Terme will present the new disc during the in-store appointment in Milan at Mondadori in Piazza Duomo and will only be the first of a long list.
‘Each of us must be free’: Luigi Strangis’ new recording work is coming
After a summer tour, the victory of Amici and a certified Gold EP, Luigi Strangis is ready to return with a new album available on all digital platforms and in stores from October 14th. Already anticipated by the single, in radio rotation and already available for streaming, Tu es bon sur tout, the new album will continue to outline the style of Luigi Strangis released during the Canale 5 talent show experience. skirt is an album that invites us to be free and far from the usual stereotypes that the society in which we live often entrusts to us.
On the cover appears the bare-chested singer, with a leather skirt and boots. “Each of us must be free to be able to express our nature and our dreams in the best possible way and to be able to pursue them without the confinement of stereotypes. That’s why I decided to title the album ‘I want the skirt'”, said the artist explaining the almost provocative title.
A new interior tour is also coming
The release of the new album, I want the skirt, is scheduled for October 14 and will inaugurate a long list of in-store appointments during which Luigi Strangis will meet his audience for the official presentation of his latest album. But the journey to the new songs of I want the skirt also continues live on the next dates scheduled for a small winter tour. The artist will be on November 16 at the Alcatraz in Milan and on November 20 at the Atlantico in Rome to perform the songs from the latest album on stage and go wild on stage, as he did this summer. A somewhat rebellious and certainly unconventional style, Luigi Strangis with his vast musical knowledge conquers the new music scene and the victory at Amici was only the beginning of a brilliant path that will lead him to important goals.
