Recently, one of the teasers for “Loki” showed the MCU’s Cheating God to have a fluid genre, just like the mythological version and the comic book version.

According to experts, “Gender fluent people are individuals whose gender identities undergo changes from time to time and can be gradual or sudden, constant or inconsistent, daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually or even annually, at intervals random times.

Although the feature has been criticized by some, director Kate Herron told Insider that it is extremely important to add it to the villain series.

“Loki has a fluid genre in Norse mythology and comics, so we thought it was extremely important to bring that into the MCU canon. I would say the details are built into the story, and that’s something we recognize.

So far, it’s unclear how this will affect the character in the future of the MCU, so it could simply have been a reference to his origins or it could have something to do with their personalities across the varied timelines of the game. series.

Previously, protagonist Tom Hiddleston also commented on the issue during an interview with Inverse, saying:

“The variety and range of identities contained in the character has always been emphasized, and it’s something we’ve always known since I was cast for the role 10 years ago. I don’t think that. all of this should shock fans, after all, the fluidity of genres is intrinsic not only to the character in the comics, but to the god of mythology.

We can only wait to see how this feature will be explored in the future.

Recalling that the next episode of the series will be broadcast on June 16 at Disney +.
