Lily James joins Zac Efron in A24’s new drama ‘The Iron Claw’

According to Deadline, Lily James has been cast in the drama ‘The Iron Claw’, a new project from director Sean Durkin in partnership with A24.

Unfortunately, the details of his role have not been revealed.

James joins Zac Efron, who will star. Harris Dickinson, Holt McCallany, Jeremy Allen White and Maura Tierney round out the cast.

The film, based on the true story of the Von Erichs, will follow the rise and fall of the family who made a name for themselves in the United States by actively participating in professional wrestling since the 1960s.

Durkin, known for his work on works such as “Martha Marcy May Marlene” and “The Refuge”, is also responsible for the screenplay.

‘The Iron Claw’ doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it’s slated for release in 2023.
