DC has revealed the voice cast for the studio’s upcoming animation, “Legion of Super-Heroes.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast includes actor Jensen Ackles (“Supernatural”), who will play Batman in the new film.
The cast will also feature Meg Donnelly (“American Housewife”) as Supergirl/Kara, Harry Shum Jr. as Brainaic 5, Darren Criss (‘Glee’) as Superman and Matt Bomer (‘White Collar’) as The Flash. A really strong team.
The plot will follow Supergirl after the loss of Krypton. As she tries to adjust to her new life on Earth, her cousin, Superman, suggests that she join the Legion Academy. There, she makes new friends and a new enemy: Brainiac 5.
Supergirl will also face off against a mysterious group called the Dark Circle as she searches for a powerful weapon stored in the Academy’s vault.
“Legion of Super-Heroes” (in the original) does not yet have a release date.
