‘La Casa de Papel’: Netflix CONFIRMS Berlin-centric spinoff series; Watch the teaser!

“La Casa de Papel” ends soon with the last five episodes of Part 2 of Season 5, but the series already has a confirmed spin-off.

Netflix CONFIRMS today a spinoff series focused on the character from Berlin.

‘Berlin – The Series’ (Berlin: A New Series) is expected to arrive in 2023.

“The heist is coming to an end, but the story continues …” Netflix reported in the announcement.

Series creator Alex Pina had previously indicated that there was no possibility of a new season, but he hasn’t ruled out spinoff series focused on other characters.

“It was a very complicated recording, it’s kind of extreme warfare and we’re now editing the final season. After you’re done watching and finding out if there are really any doors open for a spin-off, or if we want to tell you more about any of the characters. At the moment, we haven’t decided yet, ”he said.
