“ King’s Man – The Origin ”: the pre-sequence is postponed for the 5th time, until the end of the year

According to Moviehole, “ King’s Man – The Origin ” has been postponed again and will hit US theaters on December 22, 2021.

The decision was made due to the coronavirus pandemic, as several theaters around the world are still closed.

This is the fifth time that production has been delayed.

As of yet, there is still no preview of the debut here in Brazil.

Although the new film was shot long before the events of “Kingsman – Secret Service“, director Matthew Vaughn revealed to Empire that the prequel will be linked to the events of “Kingsman 3″.

“Throughout the storyline of ‘King’s Man – The Origin’ we are planting the seeds and provoking what will happen in ‘Kingsman 3’. It will be something very different [dos outros filmes], but it will be of great importance for the future of the franchise. ”

Sadly, the filmmaker hasn’t revealed much about the plans involving the two films, but it’s possible that a secret revealed in the prequel could be central to the third chapter of the main franchise.
