Tenor Katia Ricciarelli and presenter Pippo Baudo, or rather such were the titles when they met, married in 1986 for love. A love at first sight that enchanted an entire generation. As Ricciarelli revealed, as soon as she saw him, she immediately thought Baudo was the man of her life. she was 40 and he was 50 when they got married. Sadly, after 18 years of marriage, things ended in oblivion and the two went their separate ways, not too peacefully. One of the reasons for this painful split according to Katia Ricciarelli was the lack of dialogue between the two given the prolonged absences due to their respective jobs which often took them away from home for a period of time.

When Katia Ricciarelli then stopped to sign autographs, the crime happened as she herself recounted:
“I was in the lobby of the theater signing autographs. At one point my nephew recognized one of the protesters with the whistle of a fan who wanted an autograph, so Pippo grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and kicked him out in the buttocks. And Baudo wears the 47-footer… I loved it”.
