During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Feige revealed that Destiny director Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”) will be directing a Disney + exclusive MCU series.
When asked if the series would be about Xu Xialing (Meng’er Zhang) and the Ten Rings, the creative director of Marvel Studios made a secret by saying:
“What I can say is that we are already working with Destin and Disney +. I can’t wait for people to find out what this show is really about.
Sadly, it’s not clear whether the series will be a direct offshoot of the “Shang-Chi” events or something entirely new, but fans will certainly be excited to see Cretton explore the MCU even more.
Recalling that the filmmaker has signed an exclusive multi-year contract with Marvel Studios to develop “Shang-Chi 2” and other projects for Marvel – including the television series.
The details are still secret.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Cretton reflected on his desire to expand all character arcs, planning new stories that always include interaction with other heroes already established on the MCU.
“I think at the end of that movie there are some really clear arrows pointing in the directions we’d like the character to take – and not just Shang-Chi, but I’m really excited to see all of these characters start to interact with. other members of the MCU and going to places we haven’t visited yet. We’re all very excited about the doors that have opened thanks to this movie.
