In an EXCLUSIVE interview with CinePOP, actress Kaya Scodelario – who plays Claire Redfield in ‘Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City’ – revealed how she prepared to play Claire:
“I was a fan of movies and had never played the games until I read the script. Then I bought the Playstation, I started to play. I was very afraid. I asked my husband to try, but he was too scared. So we went to YouTube and watched other people play the games.
Additionally, she said she was a fan of the franchise’s first movie starring Milla Jovovich and said who her favorite characters are:
“Can I talk to the dogs?” I love dogs… they’re pretty scary, but I also think they’re so cute… The Doberman, ”he laughed.
The actress also revealed that she would love to shoot the streak in Brazil:
“Yes please. I would love to shoot in Brazil, because Canada is very dark and very cold. I think the second movie must have had a zombie outbreak on the beach. I think it would be a lot more. cool. I’m going to talk to some people today, ”the actress said.

The feature film is already showing in national cinemas.
The production adapts the story of the first two games and, like the original, is set in 1998 and chronicles the events of Raccoon City surrounded by zombies. Spencer Mansion and the Raccoon City Police Department appear in the film.
The feature film received a high Rated-R rating (ages 17 and up) for “bloody violence and adult language”.
The cast includes Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, Avan Jogia as Leon and Lily Gao as Ada Wong, Neal McDonough as William Birkin), Chad Rock as Richard Aiken and Donal Logue as Brad Vickers.
In addition to directing, Johannes Roberts writes the screenplay alongside Greg Russo (“Mortal Kombat 2021”).
