After the release of the ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut, audiences were so satisfied with what they saw, that a campaign was created to demand the continuation of the universe created by Zack Snyder.
However, Warner Bros. President Ann Sarnoff has already made it clear that this will not happen.
And it seems the idea was never in the studio’s plans, even before all the controversy surrounding Snyder’s departure in 2017.
The information was revealed by screenwriter Chris Terrio during an interview with Vanity Fair.
“At the time, Kevin Tsujihara was the president of WB and it was very difficult to work on this film. [‘Liga da Justiça‘]. Executives wanted a more comedic narrative that took less than two hours, but Zack had already entered the project with the intention of making the film as it was shown this year.
He continued:
“The film they wanted had nothing to do with what was being built [em ‘O Homem de Aço’ e ‘Batman vs Superman‘]. I was amazed at how Snyder managed to put all the pieces together working under so much pressure. It was obvious that the studio had no interest in continuing the universe of these films.

Finally, Terrio revealed that directors such as “ Aquaman ” and “ Wonder Woman ” would help Snyder as a creative consultant, and that these films would be released before the premiere of “ Justice League. ”
“The order of the films has become a mess. When Snyder was added as a creative consultant for “Aquaman” and “Wonder Woman,” he wanted to see those movies before “Justice League.” But the studio was more interested in accelerating the competition against the competition.
Apparently, it looks like the League movie didn’t arrive sooner than expected, as Warner intended to face off against Marvel and the “ Avengers ” films.
Which turned out to be a gunshot for the company itself.
Despite all the problems, the Snyder Cut continues to reverberate around the world and the campaign for the restoration of SnyderVerse (#RestoreTheSnyderVerse) continues to win over many fans.
And, for now, the petition created on the Change.org site has already passed the 16,000 signature mark. Aiming to reach 25,000 supporters, the campaign is trying to get the attention of Warner Bros. for the future of the “Justice League of Zack Snyder”, pointing out that the franchise still has great potential for development.
And not just the fans are supporting the initiative. Star Jared Leto recently commented on the campaign, in a video shared by director David Ayer on his Twitter.
In addition to himself, Joe Manganiello also reflected on his desire to see the Snyder franchise saved:
On his Twitter profile, the Slade Wilsen / Exterminator performer posted a never-before-seen image of the character with the campaign tag, demonstrating his enthusiasm for the role.

Do you think the studio should be honoring the orders or moving on?
In Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’, determined to ensure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) final sacrifice is not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) teams up with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with the intention of recruit a team of metahumans to protect. the world facing an imminent threat of catastrophic proportions. The task is more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face off against demons from their own past to transcend what stood in their way, allowing them to unite and ultimately form an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their terrible intentions. “.
