In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the producer of ‘Justice League’, Charles Roven did not rule out a sequel to the film.
However, the idea is far from materializing … And, if it is the case, the intrigue will link the film of Joss Whedon instead of Snyder Cut.
For those who don’t know, the official version was produced by Warner Bros. in partnership with Roven producer Atlas Entertainment.
Although Roven also assisted Zack Snyder in the post-production of his cut, Warner Bros. does not consider the new version to be official.
“Atlas produces everything that has to do with the ramifications of ‘The Man of Steel.’ If Warner wants to make new Superman movies, Atlas will help produce them, just like we were involved in “Batman v Superman” and “Justice League”.
When asked if there was a possibility of producing new films in the league, the filmmaker replied:
“It’s complicated, this film had a lot of twists and turns that tripled the problematization of making sequels… What I can say is that if it happens, it won’t be anytime soon. It could take years. Additionally, audiences weren’t happy with the original film, but it is this one that Warner considers canonical in his common universe.
By the way, #RestoreTheSnyderVerse tagging campaigns declined dramatically after the studio made it clear it would no longer work with Snyder.

Either way, it’s worth remembering that the 2021 version won 71% approval, compared to just 40% of the official.
Despite this, the adaptation of Whedon grossed $ 658 million worldwide, making it the lowest grossing DCEU film at the time.

The task turns out to be more difficult than Bruce had imagined, as each of the recruits must face their own demons from the past before they can finally form an unprecedented league of heroes. However, it may be too late for Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) to save the planet from the villains of Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid. and their evil plans.
