Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts revealed at the ‘Ticket to Paradise’ premiere that she wants to star in a superhero movie in the future.
According to ComicBook, when asked by Variety about such a possibility, Roberts replied:
“Wouldn’t that be amazing?” »
Clooney, who was up next and previously portrayed Batman in Joel Schumacher’s 1997 “Batman and Robin,” added that his colleague should, in fact, be in a movie from the various superhero universes.
The weight of a name like Julia Roberts is sure to bring unprecedented public and media attention to a supposed movie. It is a fact that, in recent times, a number of award-winning and acclaimed actors and actresses from the most diverse vehicles have been cast in current superhero blockbusters. This is done precisely because of the quality of their work and obviously because of the buzz that will be generated.
Have fun watching:
In recent years, we’ve seen Marvel, for example, have Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas at their disposal in “Ant-Man”; Cate Blanchett as the villainous Hela in “Thor: Ragnarok”; in addition to other big names who came before him, such as Samuel L. Jackson and Jeff Bridges. DC, on the other hand, can also boast of actors who have been in its movies, such as Pierce Brosnan, Kevin Costner, and Robin Wright.
All in all, it’s safe to say that the actress’ statement will likely put her (if it hasn’t already) in the crosshairs of the various studios, which still have a number of projects in development in which she could do part. Whether it’s from DC, Marvel, or even Warner Bros., we know Roberts will shine as always.
What’s new? Would you like to see Julia Roberts play in which universe and adapt which work?
