‘Joker 2’ will star in Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn, website claims

Journalist James Clement of The Weekly Planet said that the sequel to “Joker”, officially titled “Joker: Folie à Deux”, should have Harley Quinn as the protagonist of the new adventure.

Thus, the creative team decided to pursue this musical concept, taking advantage of the talent of Lady Gaga, singer and actress who stood out in the cinema for ‘A Star is Born’.

“Apparently Joker 2 isn’t so much a Joker movie as it is a Harley Quinn movie… It’s from Harley Quinn’s point of view. That’s why it’s a musical. It will show the relationship with Joker from his perspective,” the reporter said.

As we know, filming will begin in December of this year, in Los Angeles, where he obtained 12.6 million dollars in tax breaks. It’s a big change, given that its predecessor was set in New York.

Released in 2019, “Joker” surpassed the staggering $1 billion mark at the global box office with a budget of just $70 million.
