John Boyega and Robert De Niro to star in new Netflix movie Heist

According to Deadline, John Boyega (“Star Wars”) and two Oscar winner Robert De Niro (“The Irishman”) will team up to star in the new Netflix movie called “The Formula.”

Gerard McMurray (‘The First Night of Crime’) will be in charge of script, direction and feature film.

In the plot, Boyega will play a young Formula 1 racing prodigy who is forced to work as an escape driver to save the only family he has.

The project marks McMurray’s return to Netflix, which previously produced one of the streaming platform’s first original titles, the drama “Code of Silence.”

Jane Rosenthal, Berry Welsh and De Niro also enter as producers.

No other information was released.
