In an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com, ‘The Walking Dead’ stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan spoke about how they’d like to reprise their roles as Thomas and Martha Wayne in theaters – but not in the same way they lived. in ‘Batman vs. Superman ‘, but in one of Flashpoint’s narrative lines.

In the Flashpoint comic book series, Thomas and Martha survived the shootout in Crime Alley, with the killer killing Bruce (who would technically become Batman as we know him). Thus, Thomas ends up transforming into Dark Knight, while Martha surrenders to madness and becomes the dangerous and sadistic Joker.

“I would love to. I would love to do that. Make it clear and documented. We would love to see it happen,” Cohen said.

Morgan added, “We’ve been talking about this, Lauren and I, for years. I would like to see his version [como Coringa]. We never know. It is true. You never know with DC in particular, but everything is a little tricky inside Snyder-verse. Unfortunately, but Lauren and I have been clear and we want to make this new version.

Remember that Flashpoint will be one of the inspirations of the long awaited solo film “The Flash”, with Ezra Miller.

Recording began at Warner Bros. Studios. in April. In May, scenes were filmed in Stamford, Lincolnshire, using Burghley House as Wayne Manor.

Ben Affleck will also reprise his role as Batman in the feature film, as will Michael Keaton.

Scheduled for release June 3, 2022, ‘The Flash’ will feature Barry Allen / Flash (Ezra Miller) traveling through time to prevent the murder of his mother. However, when he returns to the present, his mother is still alive…. but the world is a nightmare. The Justice League never existed and Barry must do everything to correct all his faults.
