Jean-Claude Van Damme will play in the action film “Silent Kill”

According to Deadline, star Jean-Claude Van Damme (“Universal Soldier”) will return to the action genre, which established him in the 90s, with the film “Silent Kill”.

In the plot…

Four mercenaries discover a secret treasure in the Congo. They bury him and agree to meet in the same place in three years to share the fortune, but the situation takes a deadly turn…

The cast will also include Vernon Davis (‘A Day to Die’), Rafael Amaya (‘Lord of the Skies’) and Madalina Anea (‘Watcher’).

The film will be written and directed by Anthony Hickox, of ‘Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth’.

In addition to starring, Van Damme will also executive produce the feature alongside Joram Moreka, Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi, Ovidiu Toma and Bradly Gentz.

Filming is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2023.
