Jackie Chan film stunt coordinator Brad Allan dies at 48

According to the comic, Brad Allan, stunt coordinator for the Jackie Chan films, died on the 7th at the age of 48.

The information was originally posted by Chan himself on his personal blog, where the star praised Allan’s work and deeply regretted the loss.

However, the cause of death was not revealed, only that Allan suffered from an unmentioned illness.

“Many years ago, while I was shooting ‘Mr. Nice Guy – Fighting Good ‘, Allan was just a fan and I remember he came to visit the set. At that time, he was crazy about Kung Fu and practiced this art for many years. It was thanks to his incredible skills and talent that he went from fan to stuntman and finally joined my team. He even fought me in ‘The Grand Challenge’, and I think a lot of people remember this talented boxer who beat me… He also contributed to a lot of my films, a well known Hollywood action choreographer and also a great model. .. to be followed by many stars of the action.

Allan also recently served as the stunt coordinator and unit director on “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” the upcoming Marvel Studios adaptation which premieres in September.

Additionally, Allan is associated with more blockbuster movies than can be listed here, including the “Rush Hour” trilogy, “Ninja Killer”, “Kick-Ass”, “Avatar”, the “Kingsman” franchise, ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ and even horror movies like ‘The Entity’ and the ‘Supernatural’ franchise.

His work on “Shang-Chi” was his gateway to Marvel, which could have been a long and promising partnership.
