During yesterday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, Iva Zanicchi opened her heart to viewers in the teaser clip, ahead of her paired performance with Samuel Peron. In the clip in question the artist evoked a dramatic moment lived in his private life, dating back to not so long ago, namely the death of his brother, to whom he was very attached.

Inside Iva explained that she was hospitalized with her older sister of two years and precisely her brother who was the youngest. It was precisely for this coincidence that the three used to call this part of the hospital the Zanicchi district. The moved singer then remembers: “When they took me out of the hospital, the doctors told me that they should have detained my brother because, being cardiac, they could not make him lower the fever, but they promised me that he would be released a few days later”. Despite this, however, things did not go in the right direction.

Unfortunately, after leaving the hospital, the condition of Iva Zanicchi’s brother worsened. Indeed, they could not put on his helmet because of his heart problems and it was not possible to intubate him. Before his health deteriorated beyond repair, he asked the doctors for permission to make a phone call. So the last call went to her sister Iva. Zanicchi is still sick though she thinks her brother died alone in the hospital.

The Italian showgirl has indeed recalled that this pain unites her to many Italian families. The Dancing with the Stars singer then confessed: “I tried to see him, I asked them to get in the harness and let me stay with him but it was not possible and it was an act of cruelty. ” – he then concluded the pre-race intervention declaring – “Despite the pains of life, I found in me a great joy, the love of life”.
