Memo Remigi’s story continues to be talked about, fired by Rai for the alleged “groping” against Jessica Morlacchi
The news of the week for Italian television certainly concerns what happened at the casting of the container Today is another day. It is the dismissal of the famous singer-songwriter Memo Remigi.

Remigi, featured as a “stable condition” on Serena Bortone’s program, was kicked out last week for a move that would literally upset the entire production.
This is the alleged trial and error that Memo would have made in the direction of Side B of his adventure partner Jessica Morlacchi. The former singer-songwriter of Gazosa would have been indignant at the dead hand of Remigi, guilty of having let the embrace descend into a rather intimate area.
Memo Remigi defended by Caterina Collovati: the journalist takes her side after the gesture towards Jessica Morlacchi
Many saw Memo Remigi’s gesture as real harassment, especially because it was carried out by an 84-year-old man against a much younger girl.
The firing of Today Is Another Day was immediate, as soon as Memo’s public apology came to Jessica Morlacchi, Serena Bortone and all viewers for his reckless, overly affectionate gestures.
A woman defended Memo Remigi. Journalist Caterina Collovati, commentator and TV presenter, as well as the wife of the famous former footballer Fulvio. The latter on Facebook pointed the finger at Morlacchi and sided with the Milanese singer-songwriter.
“Memo Remigi born in 1938, gentleman of the past, singer and composer of lyrics that have made thousands of couples fall in love. For a few days he has been in the crosshairs of critics, because he is guilty of having touched the B side of this Jessica Morlacchi, singer, his colleague in the Rai 1 program “Today is another day” live TV . I refuse to see any trouble in this wrinkled hand which, after having gripped the waist of the colleague for the pose imposed by the scene, falls withered along the sides of the singer. The only palpation worthy of Memo Remigi’s mention reserves it for the piano keys which still play masterfully. As a respectable gentleman, he received the dismissal without opposition, even apologizing for this gesture which irritated his colleague. I say that it is up to him to accept the apologies of those who tendentiously misunderstood his gesture. What useless hypocrisy and moralism; a country that does not know how to defend women from men who mistreat and kill, men who rape, but which knows very well how to humiliate respectable people”.
Collovati speaks of an apology that should be made to Memo Remigi, humiliated as a respectable person only for an overly affectionate gesture. Many do not think like her, but the situation will certainly make us discuss for a long time.
