In an interview with an outlet, showrunner Alexi Hawley hinted towards some of the things that the audience can expect to see in The Rookie season 6. He said that the season will be “a lot of fun” and that it will feature “some really exciting episodes.”

Hawley also said that the season will explore the characters in more depth. “We’re going to get to know the characters even better this season. We’re going to see them grow and change, and we’re going to see them face some new challenges.”
