‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’ Is A Beautiful Story
Tony Hale also penned on Instagram, “Hard to say goodbye to The Mysterious Benedict Society, but so INCREDIBLY thankful to Disney TV Studios and Disney+ for allowing us two seasons of this beautiful story written by Trenton Stewart.
Thanks to all the top-notch writers, producers, crew, and cast… wonderful story, even more, wonderful people.”
Kristen and Tony discussed their favorite aspects of the show.
Kristen said, “I think it shows good morals. There are a lot of instances in the show where even when you do the right thing, you’re not going to get rewarded for it. I think that’s a great lesson.”
Tony added, “I would also add that as actors Kristen and I are a slice of this pie, but the production itself — the hair and makeup, production design, it is so stunning… parents and kids have this huge appreciation for the art that has been put on screen… it’s really just a beautiful palette.”
Hale said ahead of the season two premiere, “The group of Benedict and his family, we were so blindsided because we end the first season thinking we took care of him and then this guy reinvents himself as a happiness self-help guru.
And that was something none of us expected. He’s a smart dude.”
The team has no regrets about the show’s conclusion. And the audience is pleased with the outcome. What do you think about this decision? Stay tuned for more updates on various shows.
