The Charmed reboot has received a lot of attention recently, especially after season 4. That always makes spectators wonder if there will be another season of the incredible reboot. Reboots rarely last because originals are always preferred by the majority of people. But ‘Charmed’ managed to work their magic and last for four seasons.

The fantasy series follows the lives of three sisters, Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel (Melonie Diaz), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery), who explore they are the Charmed Ones after their mother dies. Each of them has its own charm, but when they work together as the ‘Power of Three,’ they are the most powerful of all.

A few components from the initial Charmed series are altered in the reboot. Now that makes us wonder about season 5. Let’s get into the details.

‘Charmed’ Season 5 Is Not Going To Happen

To begin with, there will be no Charmed reboot continuation. There will be no more seasons. Season 4 was announced to be the final season a long time ago. However, the creators revealed that if the show had received another season, there would have been more stories to tell.

Lieber said, “That’s probably the sweet spot between the Mel who was the angry activist at the beginning of the show and the Mel who found herself along the way. That’s the perfect place for her to be – in charge and trying to corral the various forces in the magical world.”

Falco said, “Even though this show has ended, these ladies’ journey doesn’t end. They’re still fighting. We weren’t going to end with them sitting around a table reading stories to their grandkids as the original show did. The battle continues, which is where we want to leave the audience. They’re still out there fighting.”

The Showrunner Teased A Story Of Mel & Roxie In ‘Hypothetical Future’

Though there is no chance of renewal right now, the showrunner did speak to an outlet about Mel and Roxie’s possible future.

Falco explained, “In some hypothetical future, they’d reconnect. They both had such complicated love lives, and more than anyone else Mel had been within four seasons, they had a deep philosophical connection. I could see that relationship lasting a long time.”

Liber also talked about Mel saying, “That’s probably the sweet spot between the Mel who was the angry activist at the beginning of the show and the Mel who found herself along the way. That’d be the perfect place for her to be — in charge and trying to corral the various forces in the magical world.”

Boss Mark Pedowitz Addressed The ‘Shock’ Of Cancelation

CW CEO Mark Pedowitz talked about the ‘shock’ of cancellations of charmed and other amazing shows.

“I realize the pattern was different from what we have done in years past so I can see why it has come as a bit of a shock to you and the fans. None of these were easy decisions, we had long conversations with our studios and parent companies and everyone recognized this was a time of transition for The CW.

Unfortunately, some difficult financial and strategic decisions needed to be made at every level, and despite some rumors out there, the content was never a factor in deciding not to move forward with the shows.”

He added, “We had an idea early on, which shows could be bubble shows. We did not know 100% what would happen so we tried to encourage all of these producers to treat their finale as if it could be a series finale.

We wanted to do the right thing for the series and for the fans. Ultimately, the producers are stewards of their own creative vision. Unfortunately, it’s the fans that lose out by these decisions.”
