The viewership of its What’s New program was not very successful and was overtaken by competing networks. It was the second episode aired on Rai 2.

After the long interlude on the Sky platform, Ilaria D’Amico has decided to return to Rai. This time not on the third network but on Rai 2, with its primetime schedule. A return to first love, current affairs, current affairs and politics, taking a step back from the sport and football that had projected him into the collective imagination of Italian television viewers. What’s new? is a format created by Alessandro Sortino and broadcast at 9:20 p.m. Yesterday, November 3, we saw the second episode, focusing on the rave decree, the protests by last generation environmentalists and the Meloni government’s measures on citizenship income. Among the guests who were present in the studio we mention Paolo Mieli, Paolo Scaroni, Domenico De Masi, actor Giovanni Scifoni and singer-songwriter Cosmo. The high expectation for the second act of the format, however, did not get the audience award the presenter was hoping for. Let’s take a closer look at the Auditel figures for Thursday evening.

As for the winner in prime time, we must mention on Rai1 Vincenzo Malinconico – Avvocato d’Insuccesso, which conquered 3,416,000 spectators, with a share of 18.9%. Canale5’s response, entrusted to Big Brother Vip, fell short, with 2,659,000 viewers and a share of 20.8% (Night at 1,039,000 and 29.8%, Live at 609,000 and 21.3%). As for Ilaria D’Amico, what’s up? reached 299,000 spectators (only 1.7% share). On Italia1, a direct competitor, the film Transporter: Extreme did better, with 1,205,000 admissions (6.1%). On Rai3 Amore Criminale was watched by 869,000 viewers with 4.6%. Rete4 saw Dritto and Rovescio totaling 993,000 viewers (6.8%). Finally, we report La7, with Piazzapulita followed by 865,000 spectators equaling 5.9% share. In short, for the former godmother of Italian football, it will take much more to return to standards of a certain level.
