Hema Free Gel Polish

Applying nail polish is always a tricky job. Drying takes too long, and you can never be too careful. You look away momentarily, and the whole design becomes a mess. With the right tools, on the other hand, you can make gorgeous designs, dry them and rock them! But what are the right tools for the job? We’ll get to that!

Hema Free Gel Polish in the UK is, of course, an important component. We cannot paint our nails without any polish, obviously, so that’s not what we’re talking about here. When it comes to gel nail polish, you’ll need some other tools along with preparing your nail appropriately to get a perfect job done. So let’s cover all the basics before we move on.

Standard Nail Polish Versus Gel Nail Polish

What differentiates the standard from Hema Free Gel Nail Polish Brands In the UK is their type of polymers.

Both nail polishes use various dyes and pigments to give the array of colours that we love so much. It may also have thickening agents such as Stearalkonium hectorite and adhesive polymers to ensure the polish sticks to the nails. These elements come together to give nail polish its various features such as colour, shine, sticking to our nails and then drying, etc. Unlike other nail polish, gel nail polish makes use of methacrylate polymers – a type of polymer that sticks to the nail but does not dry.

Hema Free Gel Nail Polish must be cured and dried. Otherwise, no matter how long you leave it on your nail unmoved, it will remain only up to 80% of the way dry. Although when you dry and cure it correctly, it will last you anywhere from one week to two weeks.

Along with the proper application, you will also need to give it good aftercare. Another thing that distinguishes them is that gel polish cannot be removed as easily.

How To Apply Hema Free Gel Polish?

Unlink with other nail polish types; you will need time to prep your nails if you’re using Hema Free Gel Nail Polish In the UK. You will also require some equipment to ensure a smooth finish. Let’s take a look at what you will need:

  • Nail Cutter
  • Nail File
  • Nail Buff
  • Cuticle Pusher
  • Manicure Scissors
  • Acetone
  • Cotton Pads
  • Base Coat
  • Gel Nail Polish of your preferred colour
  • Top Coat
  • UV Lamp or LED Lamp
  • Cuticle Oil

Nail Prep

Nail prep is paramount if you want your gel polish to last a long time. Prepping the nails are easy. Most of the nail prep is the things you would do once a week to your nails anyways. It just comes with a few added steps for the nail polish.

  • First and foremost, trim your nails using the nail cutter. Trim your nails as closely as you can into your desired shape. You can cut your nail into oval, square, coffin, almond, or stiletto or give it flared tips.
  • The next part of nail prep is using a nail file to smoothen the rough nail tips. Much like splinters on wood, your nail will also have small splinters that have the potential to break your nails and make them shorter than you intended. This can be smoothed using nail files.
  • Once you’re done, use a nail buff on the nail edge and the nails’ surface. Our nails may naturally contain small ridges, depending on your health as well as your genes. While it is completely natural, it can still make it difficult for Hema Free Gel Nail Polish to stick to the nail surface.
  • Now, take some acetone on a cotton pad and wipe over the nail’s surface to remove any excess oil that may be present. Once you wipe your nail with acetone and it’s dry, you can then apply the nail polish.

The Application Process

Now that your nail is ready, you can begin applying the nail polish. Use the best quality Hema Free Gel Polish In the UK. Remember to follow the steps described below for an effortless application.

  • To begin with, apply a very thin layer of base coat. Once it is dry, apply a thin layer of nail polish on all your nails, then cure it under an LED or UV lamp
  • Touch the nail surface lightly to check if the first gel coating is fully dry. If it is even a bit sticky, you should cure it again before applying the second layer, which must be equally thin. Cure it again – the second layer may take longer to cure as it will mix slightly with the first layer.
  • Once the second layer is completely cured, apply the top coat and dry it again. Some top coats require you to wipe the top after curing it for a while; check the top coat you have and follow the appropriate steps.
  • Some top coats can be thick; you might have to cure them under a UV lamp. Touch the surface very lightly, and if you feel it is soft rather than hard, then you need to cure it again.

The End

That covers all the steps for a good gel manicure. When you’re ready to remove it, hopefully after two weeks, you will have to dip your nails in acetone.
