HER is nominated for eight 2022 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year

The nominees for the 64th Grammy Awards were announced today (23), and Oscar-winning actress HER has won no less than eight nominations.

Among the nominations, the singer-songwriter is in the running for Album of the Year and Best R&B Album for ‘Back of My Mind’, as well as Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for “Damage “and the best traditional R&B and music performance of the year. Year for “Fight for you”.

The winners will be announced on January 31, 2022.

Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson’s alter-ego, HER rose to fame in 2016 with the release of her acclaimed EP of the same name. Since then he has published many other works which have fallen in popular and critical tastes.

In 2019, the artist was nominated for five Grammy categories, winning the awards for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album. This year he won the Oscar for Best Original Song for “Fight for You”, from the movie “Judas and the Black Messiah”, and the Music Statuette of the Year for “I Can’t Breathe”.
