‘Hawkeye’: Hailee Steinfeld says quarantine helped keep her participation in series a secret

In an interview with PEOPLE, actress Hailee Steinfeld (“ Bumblebee ”), who will play the character of Kate Bishop in the series “ Gavião Arqueiro ”, said that quarantine makes it easier to keep the secret of her participation in production.

“I think, in a way, there was a positive side that I couldn’t get to know a lot of people because it was a tough secret to keep. I have been very honored to be a part of the Marvel Universe family. “

It should be remembered that “ Gavião Arqueiro ” will take place in 2025, two years after the defeat of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in “ Avengers: Ultimatum ”.

Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova, a younger version of Black Widow.

Vera Farmiga (“Invocation of Evil”) will take on the role of Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother.

Fra Fee will play a character named Kazi, likely a reference to Kazimierz Kazimierczak, better known as the Evil Mercenary Clown.

For those who don’t know, the series is based on the original comics in which Clint Barton passes superhero responsibility to the next Archer, Kate Bishop. The plot will focus on training Kate until her complete transformation into a heroine, allowing Barton to officially retire.

The comic book adaptation of ‘Gavião Arqueiro’ will be in a miniseries, following in the footsteps of other original Disney + productions, and the premiere is only scheduled towards the end of 2021.
