“Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts” will soon air on HBO Max and promises to take fans of the franchise on a nostalgic journey, celebrating 20 years of the famous “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” debut.

And during the long-awaited reunion, actress Emma Watson opened up about her past with the franchise, saying she almost gave up the role of Hermione at the height of her success.

“I think I was scared. I don’t know if you’ve ever felt like you’ve reached your limit, where you think, “It seems to go on forever.” It was around the time of The Order of the Phoenix that things started to get more difficult for all of us.

Watson also revealed how the support from the fans helped him overcome the fear and pressure he felt during this time.

“The celebrity thing hit me big in the chest. No one has had to convince me to go ahead with cinema. The fans really wanted me to be successful and they all really support each other. Isn’t that amazing? “

Scheduled for January 1, 2022, the special will star Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson along with director Chris Columbus and other cast members as they return to Hogwarts for the first time since “Harry Potter and the deathly hallows: part 2 ”.

Earlier, Watson was delighted to speak for the first time about the production.

“Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time. I think a reporter once said that it was irritating how many times over the course of an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started to say it… BUT I KNOW IT WELL !!! And I still know it Thanks to the fans who kept showing their support after the last one film. The magic of the world would not exist without you. Thank you for striving to make it such an inclusive and loving place.

I still miss the team that made these movies all the time. Thank you for all your hard work too – I know your contributions are sometimes forgotten.

Happy 20th birthday to the Potterheads! We hope you enjoy the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts, which premieres on New Years Day, January 1 on HBO Max. ⚡️ Lots to look forward to. 😊, ”Watson wrote.

The special will also feature Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch and Ian Hart, among others.
