“Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in 3D pays more than “Ghostbusters: Beyond” in Brazil

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” celebrated 20 years since its first theatrical appearance in November and, to celebrate, Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max offered fans of the saga exclusive sessions of the film for the first time in 3D in theaters.

The action took place last Sunday, November 21, and the feature-length film topped the charts for most viewed films on Sunday, taking over 325,000 viewers to theaters across Brazil to relive the magic of the Harry Potter universe.

The film has screened in more than 900 theaters across the country, with a box office of over 6.6 million reais.

To give you an idea of ​​its success, the film won almost twice as much as the other big premiere of the week, ‘Ghostbusters: Mais Além’ – which debuted in third place with BRL 3.1million.

First place at the box office went to “Eternos”, which grossed R $ 7 million.
