America’s darling turns 61 today: Meg Ryan has conquered the title of queen of romantic comedies and, although she’s been off the stage for the past few years, she’s ready to return to reclaim the crown.
Many will remember her as America’s sweetheart, but today Meg Ryan is ready to break down that wall of silence that has accompanied her for the past few years of her career. On the amfAR red carpet organized in November 2021, the actress opted for a simple and elegant look, a total black sheath dress covered in sequins by Giorgio Armani. Finally, on the red carpet of the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Gala, she unveiled an ivory-colored dress with a floral texture.
