Gucci pays tribute to gaming with a new capsule collection

Gucci returns to gaming and creates a new capsule collection inspired by the world of video games. It is simply called Gucci Good Game and offers iridescent clothing and accessories.

Gucci returns to immerse itself in the vast world of gaming and offers a new ad hoc collection, colorful and lively, which sublimates every aspect of it. The house directed by Alessandro Michele does not stop for a moment and has been enriched in recent months with its glamorous proposals. Before Good Game, the capsule collection dedicated to the world of video games, the house gave way to another creation but also a testimony. Harry Styles, in fact, launched his fashion line by quickly conquering his fans and fashion addicts.

And Gucci is trying again today, cultivating more and more its dimension within the gaming sector by offering a collection that begins with the interpretation of its iconic logo. As the house explains: “The two letters encoded with the DNA of the House’s centenary take on new meaning in the gaming arena. The greeting that players exchange at the end of a game, “GG” or “Good Game”, becomes the name and motto of Gucci’s adventures in the virtual world, creating a space dedicated to play, to the expression of self, talent, freedom and individuality”.

So far, in fact, the Italian fashion house has made several forays into the world of video games, as has happened for example for Animal Crossing or The Sims 4. In this case, Gucci has made a digital reproduction of a sustainable fashion line. With backing from a treehouse and Jane Fonda turned sim testimonial, the house came up with Gucci Off The Gird. Today, however, he has decided to offer a line of clothing and accessories to wear in real life too, but clearly inspired by the video game. The first time that Gucci Good Game appeared on the market was in 2019. This is the motto that encompasses all the initiatives launched by the fashion house in the sector.

The ready-to-wear capsule collection is made up of different suits, but the beating heart is the GG monogram that characterizes the entire proposal, as well as the selected and treated materials that smell of innovation. The house offers coordinated outfits consisting of a bowling shirt associated with shorts, a hoodie with iridescent details and a t-shirt with a well-emphasized logo.

Space also for accessories for Gucci Good Game, from slippers to sneakers, baseball caps and bags. In this case, the house offered different models such as a square minibag, a crescent and a metallic silver clutch. Gucci has also created a multi-pocket leather backpack with removable parts. On the shoe side, we also find in this collection a variant of the Gucci Basket sneaker, total black with phosphorescent details.
