Jesse Williams won’t be the only familiar face returning in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 19. According to TVLine, Greg Germann will reprise his role as Dr. Tom Koracick in the current series cycle.

The character will return to production in the episode that will premiere November 3 – the same episode that will also mark the return of Dr. Jackson Avery.

Previously, showrunner Krista Vernoff commented on the character’s possible return: “Greg Germann is a genius comedian and we’ve been very lucky to have his talent on his show for the past few years. We’ll miss him, but we plan to revisit it in the future.

It should be remembered that actress Ellen Pompeo returns only in a limited capacity, appearing in only 8 episodes of the 19th season. Pompeo, however, will continue as executive producer and narrator for all episodes.
